FAQ’s

What sizes do you stock?

As we are a new and small business we have a limited size range on our items. As we continue to grow we will work to stock all items in multiple sizes. For now we encourage you to fill out our “Request my size” form so that we can prioritise those items.

Can I try on items?

Yes! try on’s are available by appointment only and are only available in Mosman, Sydney NSW 2088. Unfortunately we do not offer any try on’s via shipping & return. For try on appointments please email contact@borrowedbybanks.com

What if my order doesn’t arrive before my event date?

We cannot be held accountable for any late or lost deliveries as this is the fault of a third party. In the case of late delivery, we can issue store credit but no refund. The store credit will be equivalent to the total value of your order (hire price and any shipping costs). Last minute orders are not eligible for a credit (3 or less days prior to your event date). We recommend ordering a minimum of 4 days prior to your event date to ensure your item will arrive on time.

We of course do everything in our power to make sure your item arrives at least 2 days prior to your event but please note unprecendeted Australia post delays may occur. If your item does not arrive before your event please email contact@borrowedbybanks.com to organise a credit.

What if my item doesn’t fit/look right?

We recommend organising a try on with us before ordering to avoid this however if your item doesn’t quite fit right or look right you need to notify us within 5 hours of you receiving the item and a credit will be issued to you. You will need to post the item back the same day to eligible for a credit

Can I pick up my item?

Yes! pick up is available from Sydney 2088 for those who live within the area. For pick up orders please email contact@borrowedbybanks.com

What if the item arrives damaged?

General wear and tear is expected however if the item comes damaged please notify us within 5 hours of receiving the item via contact@borrowedbybanks with clear images.

What if I damage the item?

If you have stained or damaged the item please email us immediately at contact@borrowedbybanks.com with pictures so that we can assess the damage and act accordingly. Significant damage can result in additional fees depending on the severity of the damage. Irreversible damage will result in a replacement fee. Please refer to our T&C’S for more information

How do I cancel my order?

To cancel your order please email contact@borrowedbybanks.com with your order number as soon as possible. You will be issued with a non expiring store credit. Cancellations made after the dispatch of your order will not be issued with a credit.

What if the item is lost or does not get returned?

If the item is lost or stolen it is expected that you notify us as soon as possible. In this event you will be liable to pay 150% of the items original retail price.

Are there any late fees?

Yes, a late fee of $50 a day will be deducted until the item is returned. If we do not hear from you or receive the item after 5 days, 150% of the items RRP will be charged.

Can I hire for an extended period?

Yes, for extended hires beyond 8 days please email contact@borrowedbybanks.com

Where do we ship to?

We express ship our collection Australia-wide. Unfortunately, we currently do not ship outside of Australia.
